In Honor of Artur Suleimanov
Hosanna is the name of dear brother’s, Pastor Artur’s, church in Dagestan. This Hosanna Plan will be a memorial to him, accentuating the fact that because of his faithfulness, Pastor Artur is now experiencing his own triumphal entry into Heaven.
God demands no less of us.
Details of his story…
Pastor Artur is about to give his final sermon to Russia.
It is July 15, 2010, and he has just finished meeting with other Russian pastors about a plan to evangelize and plant new churches in the Dagestan region. He is excited about mobilizing teams to reach the unreached people of Russia. He can’t wait to tell his wife, Zinaida, how well the meeting went.
Then, as Pastor Artur exits his vehicle in front of the church, a strange man approaches. Pastor Artur looks up at the man, and without a word, the man lifts a handgun to Pastor Artur’s head and pulls the trigger.
Pastor Artur’s final sermon to his beloved Russia is his life.
Because of Pastor Artur’s martyrdom, nothing less than the greatest evangelism movement Russia has ever seen is now taking place.
The Hosanna Plan’s two priorities
Envision Russian churches sending 1. evangelism teams (One Year for Jesus) to 129,000 Russian cities to share the gospel, thus a result 2. 1,600 new churches (Every Church Plant a Church) are estimated in the next four years.
